Michelle Heine - Principal/Dancer/Choreographer
Michelle trained with June Cloete in Zambia and Zimbabwe from the age of three. She trained in classical ballet, tap, modern, jazz and acrobatics. Michelle turned professional at the tender age of 14 years. She was a member of the Zimbabwe National Ballet Company for two years. Michelle then went on to dance at the world renowned casino resort, Sun City, where she completed 3 extravaganza contracts, “Flights of Fancy”, “Voila” and “Fun and Games”.
Since arriving in Australia, Michelle has been involved in choreographing a number of local productions such as My Fair Lady, The Mikado, Les Miserables, Chicago, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Hello Dolly to name a few. She is currently involved in production of Thoroughly Modern Millie for early 2008.
Michelle choreographed the opening ceremony of the University Games in Canberra plus the launch of the University Games in Melbourne. Michelle also choreographed the closing ceremony of the Australian Masters Games plus the ACT float for the Centenary of Federation parades in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.
