Opportunities in Dance
One of the aspects of Legs Dance and Performing Arts program is that children who participate in the syllabus develop confidence and life skills which will help them in their personal development. The children are encouraged to develop their personal and moral ethics in our program through commitment to themselves, their parents and their team mates and associates.
Students who have left the studio to enter the big wide world are often the first to be considered for positions when they apply, the main reasons being their confidence, poise and self esteem place them apart from the crowd.
Students learn discipline and how to apply themselves to projects without the fear of failure. The syllabuses provided by the studio are recognised throughout the world. They enable those students that complete their teaching examinations to be readily employable in any of the westernised countries where ballet, tap and jazz/modern dance are taught.
Students from “Legs” have been involved in touring to the USA, China, Malaysia and throughout Australia. They have performed with numerous Australian performers including George from Playschool, Peter Coombes and Vanessa Amorosi. Students have gone onto contracts dancing on cruise ships as they travel the world. Students have also been accepted into Lido, Moulin Rouge and full time performing arts courses at Brent St, ED5 and Urban Dance Centre. “Legs” has trained students who are starring in TV series and touring with the Tap Dogs.
Our dance program is based on providing the opportunity and then providing the support for the students to achieve their dreams and aspirations.
